Get started

Build a useful inventory first. Monitoring is optional, and you don’t need a connected integration to organize your devices.

Create your account.

On the sign-in page, choose Create an account, then I run a church or organization. Enter your details and your Organization name. Choose Create account.
Create an Area.

On the dashboard, choose Edit layout, then + Area. Give it a recognizable name, such as “Auditorium.” Use Inside to choose where it belongs.
Add a device.

Still in the layout editor, choose + Device, enter a useful name, and select its Area. Browse Catalog manufacturer and Catalog model for physical equipment, or Catalog provider and Catalog product for Apps and Services. You can save an unidentified item or create a private definition when no match exists. Add the details you know, including a web link or the address to check when you add monitoring.
Open your dashboard.

Choose Done. Check that your spaces and devices are easy to find on the Board or in the List. Open a device to see its details. Devices without current monitoring evidence show NO DATA.
Add monitoring when you’re ready.

Follow Set up a collector to start current reachability checks.

Supporting another organization

Choose the provider account option if you support customer Organizations. Creating a provider account requires a Provider name and does not grant access to customers. You can see an Organization only after you have been explicitly granted access.

Archived organizations

When a Watchtower administrator archives an Organization, its users can no longer sign in. Its collectors stop monitoring, and support providers no longer see it in their customer list. The data is kept. An administrator can restore the Organization, but collectors must be paired again before monitoring resumes. Permanent deletion is a separate action. Contact your Watchtower administrator if you need help with an archived Organization.
